Note to South African Businesses:

Since the gazetting of the Black Economic Empowerment Codes of Good Practice in 2007, donors can now score points on the BEE Score Card by contributing to SAEP.  Points can be scored in two elements, Socio-economic Development and Enterprise Development.  If your annual turnover is between R 5 million and R 35 million, you can score 25 points in each of these elements.  If your annual turnover is over R 35 million, you can score 5 points for Socio-economic Development and 15 points for Enterprise Development.  With this incentive in mind, SAEP has partnered with ONE Creative Social Investment to ensure that contributions are in line with the BEE guidelines and the necessary documentation is completed.

From the moment I had met everyone at the Monday morning meeting, I received fantastic help, lovely smiley faces and huge kindness. I learned...when you work with people who you really like, who are helpful, kind, warm-hearted and whom you have respect for, it makes you want to work to the very best of your abilities, and do the best job you possibly could. I really hope that through my pictures you will be able to find more donors in order to continue the wonderful work that SAEP does... I hope that my very small contribution will make a difference.
