High School Program

Asanda Lugalo, SAEP, and the schools where SAEP works were featured in a May 7, 2007 article in Varsity, the UCT student newspaper, about the challenges faced by township high school learners, especially those who aspire to continue their education at a tertiary institution like UCT.  "The schooling shortfall"

Crèche Program

On April 23, 2007 the Cape Times reported on a celebration of the opening of a new crèche building at Zamukhanyo Educare April 22.  The new building was built in eight days by volunteers from the Netherlands using materials and funds provided by a Dutch builder and the Dutch aid organization Cordaid through a grant to SAEP.  "Dream comes true after polystyrene crèche built in Philippi"

Gap Year Program

The Cape Argus did a special article on SAEP's Gap Year program on 27 September 2005 "Opening the door to all options for kids"

High School Program: Poetry

A poetry competition organized by SAEP was featured in the University of Cape Town's Monday Paper on July 12, 2004 "Poetry competition for township schools"
