"THE VERSES THAT HEAL YOUR SOUL"

~More Poems by Philippi's Leading Poets~

Death

(for my grandmother Alice)

Afrika

I know you death
You took many that I know
You come like a lighting
And left many people with tears

Where ever you go!
Where ever you are!

Death will always be there and
I have seen you are hungry for us!!

I know you death
Course you of my grandmother
She use to tell me about you hero of sadness
I have seen it before you put others on the six handle transport
Why do not you have any smile?

Oh man! where ever you are
you call your self king of kings
Should I call you a ruler
No matter you have the world
And you walk with limousines and pajeros
But I have seen the fire is coming
No matter you are young or old
Even to animals

I know you death
Because you stole my hero
I say some one I love some one who cares
You are quiet so as the needle through the cloth
Oh death can’t you see?
We afraid of you
Can you stay away for a while
Cause there is no where we can hide
You make others stell so as the rocks above the mountains
You toke them easy to their families
And quicker from earth to
heaven
I wonder what we can do to fight against you!

Please tell me when I am gone
What am I going to do with my limousine?
What am I going to do with my gold & diamond?
But I one day I will see those you have taken away from me

Oh death!!
I do not now what to do!
I do not now where to run!
But I rather write a letter to heaven so that one day you will face
The truth.

Even now
I still see her beautiful face
her white smile over blood
She is dark in colour
but not black
Shining mind in many ways
The pride of her sons

She is strong with wisdom
She fought the struggle
winning battles that were
not with victory
you wipe blood in your childrens face
pasted cracks in their heart

Sad isn’t it
You divided your sons and daughters
into strangers and stranglers
Believers to unbelieve.
Saved and cursed

They Once
Colonized you
but you had the vision
and pushed the mission
The mother continent
She never died
And never will
She never cried
As she fought

"Praise him but never found"

We! The word passengers
We request to him for future
Him our saviour, creator and answer
We belong to him , but never found him.

We try to blow the words into your channel
Receive love and mercy

We dig deep down in mines
Worshiping in the desert
We try to reach the sky
But never found him

How much power do we need to get inside of your tunnel?
Just because we believe
Only you that can bring us brightness
Only you that can give us power
Only you that can give us hope and faith
Only you!

You!
