The Development of Sports in Philippi Township

There’s quite a number of Sports in which the youth can participate on, Sport helps to keep youth busy with useful things to do, the reasons for that are to take the youth away from the street not to do or to engage themselves doing crime.  Most of today’s youth is out there going with the flow, At Philippi is different though, there’s quite a number of Sports in which the youth can participate on sports such as…soccer, netball, girl’s soccer, hockey, swimming, cricket, rugby.  Etc.

The upcoming talent: Khangelani Mtyhalela (Santos F.C.) and Masonwabe "Shoes" Maseti (Ajax F.C.), Maseti is one of the Bafana Bafana junior players that are admired and respected because of the football that he delivers.
