On Tuesday the 23rd of February 2016 the SAEP Visual Arts class paid a visit to Iziko’s National Gallery Studio Exhibition. The Studio exhibition celebrates the works of South African artists from yesterday and today.

The learners had the privilege of witnessing some of South Africa’s finest Artists’ work. The theme of the exhibition is named “Celebrating the lives and work of South African Artists”

The exhibition is themed ” SOUTH AFRICA THEN AND NOW”

The trip was a very educational and inspiring exercise for the leaners who rarely get the opportunity to be exposed to professional artwork. The Visual Arts team also participated in creating their own artwork in one of the Iziko’s studios. Their work will be part of the exhibition once they have completed it later in the week.
