Note to South African Businesses:
Since the gazetting of the Black Economic Empowerment Codes of Good Practice in 2007, donors can now score points on the BEE Score Card by contributing to SAEP. Points can be scored in two elements, Socio-economic Development and Enterprise Development. If your annual turnover is between R 5 million and R 35 million, you can score 25 points in each of these elements. If your annual turnover is over R 35 million, you can score 5 points for Socio-economic Development and 15 points for Enterprise Development. With this incentive in mind, SAEP has partnered with ONE Creative Social Investment to ensure that contributions are in line with the BEE guidelines and the necessary documentation is completed.
