» Manager

SAEP is currently looking to hire an Academic Manager for our High School and Bridging Year Programmes, to start in January 2012. Applicants should be qualified teachers with a minimum of five years' teaching experience in South Africa, preferably in the Western Cape.

 

Description: Responsible for planning and evaluation, management, administration and reporting, and teaching in our High School and Bridging Year programmes.
Full-time or part-time? Full-time
Hours: 9:00am-5:00pm, monday to friday

» Tutors

SAEP is currently looking for tutors to teach English, Accounting and Science to students in Grades 9-11.

 

Description: Tutor learners in grade 9, 10 or 11; prepare for lessons; mark student's assignments.
Full-time or part-time? Part-time
Hours: 2:15-5:00pm, twice a week (includes transport to and from schools; lessons take place from 3:00-4:30pm), plus preparation and marking time.
Dates: Beginning immediately (July 2011), through October 2011. You must be able to commit for a minimum of three months.
Requirements: Tertiary student or graduate with background in the subject you would like to teach. English tutors must have matriculated with English HG (home language) or equivalent, and must speak and write fluently in English. Prior experience teaching is preferred but not required.
Pay: R800 per month, paid at the end of the month.
Other: Worksheets will be provided in advance, but you will need to do your own personal preparation for the lesson. Transport is provided to and from the schools from our offices in Mowbray and from UCT Upper Campus.
