Last month, 102 learners from our Siyakhathala Primary Programme and their Learning Gym coaches visited Rondevlei Nature Reserve; a fascinating home to around 230 bird species, as well as a number of reptiles and mammals. The children were taken around the reserve on a treasure hunt to find out all about the different species of birds and animals, and how the reserve provides a safe environment for them.
What a brilliant outing this was, spending time at the only nature reserve with hippos in Cape Town.

We ended off with a nice stroll along the scenic path of the reserve. Thank you to the Rondevlei Nature Reserve.
